氯化十六烷铵基吡啶(cetylpyridinium chloride,以下简称CPC)系季胺化合物,目前有它的几种商品漱口剂出售。以往一些研究都提示CPC可减少牙菌斑的集聚,但对龈炎的效果则不肯定,且它对人牙菌斑的生化及微生物学方面的影响几乎未被研究,有鉴及此作者在这方面进行了探讨。从医院口矫或牙周病20~49岁的病人中选40名为实验对象,另40名同年龄、性别及临床情况大致相同的患者作对照。这些病人均排除了妊娠、虚弱病及6周内曾用过抗菌素、激素治疗,而且口内至少保留有20个牙齿,这些牙齿经牙菌斑显示剂显示后应至少有10个牙围绕其颈缘能见到连续的菌斑线
Cetylpyridinium chloride (hereinafter referred to as CPC) is a quaternary amine compound and currently has several of its commercial mouthwashes for sale.
