我国工矿运输广泛采用东德150t及100t电力机车。该车高压主电路由直流高速断路器进行短路保护。各牵引电动机支路(上端)由一只RSL4型过流继电器控制电空接触器开断,对牵引电动机进行过载保护。图1为150 t电力机车主电路保护系统简图。通过长期实践,证明该车过载保护系统原设计存在一定缺陷。如当过流继电器动作时,往往会导致多台电空接触器烧损,甚至对地飞弧短路,使事故扩大等。电力机车在运行中,有以下两种情况会导致过流继电器动作:
