本课题通过文献资料法、问卷调查法、跟踪测试和高校学生体质专家询问等方法对处在社会转型期的江西高校大学生在业余时间参加身体锻炼、运动或训练的情况进行问卷跟踪调查,从调查的1000名高校大学生的问卷填写来分析,只有45%的大学生一星期锻炼次数超过3次,每次2小时,强度中小,不及总人数的一半,调查中每星期参加一次体育锻炼的也占到32.5%的人数比例,在调查中填写每个星期0次的竟然也有3.5%的人数;在调查学生对身体自我感觉的问卷中,75%的大学生自我感觉良好,不瘦不胖,精力充沛;有13%的男女大学生认为自己偏胖,7%的男女大学生认为自己偏瘦弱;另对高校大学生体质健康和锻炼监测部门专家的寻访了解到,99%的高校每年都有学生体质测试,每一年都有校运动会,50%的有部分高校还有红旗接力比赛和冬季越野比赛或其他形式的趣味性运动会形式。
