对于现代的都市人而言,“食物”早就不是解决饥饿的工具,而是疏解压力,联络感情的一大支柱。但你有没有想过,为什么越高级的餐厅,食物似乎就越美味,你也心甘情愿掏更多的钱?牛津大学实验心理学的教授斯彭斯发现,这其实跟食物没有太大关系。在我们用餐时,与谁一起,食物怎么摆放,餐具的颜色和质地,甚至周围的声音,都会影响我们的味觉。前三者的确不难理解,但是声音到底和味觉有何关系?
For the modern urban people, “food ” has long been not a tool to solve hunger, but to relieve stress and contact a pillar of emotion. But have you ever wondered why the higher the restaurant, the more delicious the food seems to be and the more you are willing to pay for it? Spence, a professor of experimental psychology at Oxford University, found that there was virtually nothing to do with food. With whom we dined, with whom, how food was placed, the color and texture of cutlery, and even the sounds around us all affected our taste.
