王通(公元584—617年)字仲淹,山西龙门人,隋末的经学大师,家庭累世业儒,祖、父辈都是有名的学者。他15岁时学术已有成就。20岁往长安,谒见文帝,上《太平十二策》,陈说治道。文帝虽极力称赞,但不实行,遂返回山西。此后多次谢绝权臣的招聘,专门著书讲学。卒,门人谥为文中子。著述有《续经》(已佚),是模 Wang Tong (AD 584-617) Zhong Zhongyan, the Longmen of Shanxi Province, the master of Confucian studies at the end of the last century, the family of the world, the Confucian and his father’s generation are well-known scholars.
