本文对200例中国人成年男性下颌牙槽弓若干测点间距进行了测量,并对其形状做了目测分类。认为下颌牙槽弓的形状可用尖牙槽间弧弦指数区分,大于或小于指数95即能分出方圆型或尖圆型;本实验根据测量描绘出下颌牙槽弓的几何图形,用计算几何方法求得左外、左内、右外、右内四个半弓的一元八次方程,并作了检验,误差在0.001cm 以下、相关系数在0.999以上;根据方程,算出中国人成年男性下颌牙槽弓平均截面积为12.15cm~2。
