寺子屋是以招收平民子弟为对象的私立初等教育机构。在江户时代鼎盛一时,在近代化改革的浪潮中退出历史舞台。寺子屋具有鲜明的时代特点,它的产生和发展提升了日本国民整体的文化素质,为教育的普及和道德的传承做出了巨大贡献,也为日本社会近代化改革的成功奠定了坚实基础。使明治初期实现了“邑无不学之户,家无不学之人”的“国民皆学”的既定目标。寺子屋对日本的近代化进程产生了积极影响,在日本历史上占有重要地位。
Temple house is to recruit civilians as the target of private primary education institutions. In the prosperous period of the Edo period, we stepped out of the stage of history in the wave of modernization. Temple house has distinct characteristics of the times. Its emergence and development have promoted the overall cultural quality of Japanese nationals, made great contributions to the popularization of education and moral heritage, and laid a solid foundation for the success of the modernization of Japanese society. In the early Meiji period, it realized the established goal of “learning from all the people” in the school of “all without exception”. Temple house has a positive impact on the modernization of Japan and occupies an important position in the history of Japan.
