Nowadays, we live in a dimension of consumerism full of materialism and impetuousness. Our subjectivity as an independent personality is constantly being eliminated. Our hands are gradually transformed into an era of modular production and consumption under the globalization context. A mechanical part. On the one hand, we have enjoyed the most convenient material stimulation in the consumer age. On the other hand, we have pursued the smog brought about by the maximization of production efficiency, the fake and inferior products pursued by the medical manufacturing industry in pursuit of economic interests, the materialization of life and the desertification of the spirit. Moral norms erode slowly under the eagerness of vested interests, just as the beauty of poppies is the poisonous nucleus. In such a sub-health chaos, pathology in the tenacious vitality, resilience and immunity is what we humans are missing. This is also my perception in the installation “Erosion”.
