党的十一届三中全会以来的十年,我们的外国文学工作有了长足的进步和发展,成绩是巨大的,所有从事外国文学研究和介绍的同志完全有理由为自己付出辛勤劳动所创造的成果感到由衷的喜悦和自豪。但是,我们也应该看到,我们在大量引进和介绍世界各国优秀文学作品和各种文艺思想的同时,也受到资产阶级自由化思潮的影响和冲击,我们的工作中也出现一些不容忽视的问题。为了坚持四项基本原则,坚决反对资产阶级自由化,使外国文学工作更好地为人民服务、为社会主义服务,更好地坚持百花齐放、百家争鸣的方针,我们《世界文学》编辑部特地组织了这次外国文学工作笔谈,请各方面从事外国文学研究和介绍的专家、学者结合本人的工作实践和近年来外国文学出版、介绍、评论、研究方面的状况和问题,提出自己的看法。参加我们这次笔谈的大都是当前活跃在外国文学工作战线上的中年同志,他们是北京大学英语系教授陶洁,国际广播电台副台长、中国西荷拉美文学研究会副会长、译审刘习良,中国社会科学院日本研究所研究员叶渭渠,《中国文化报》主任编辑关偁,中国社会科学院外国文学研究所副所长、研究员黄宝生,研究员陈燊、张黎,《世界文学》主编、编审李文俊,副研究员钱善行、赵一凡,《外国文学评论》编辑部主任、副研究员倪培耕。现将他们的看法发表如下。我们也希望能听到广大读者和外国文学界同志们的意见与反应。文章以收到先后次序编排。·编者·
In the ten years since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, our foreign literature has made great progress and development with great achievements. All comrades engaged in the study and introduction of foreign literature have every reason to create hard work for themselves The outcome of my heartfelt joy and pride. However, we should also see that while we have introduced and introduced excellent literary works and various literary and art ideas in various countries in the world, we are also influenced and shocked by the trend of bourgeois liberalization. We also have some problems that can not be ignored in our work . In order to adhere to the four cardinal principles, firmly oppose the liberalization of the bourgeoisie, make foreign literary work serve the people better, serve socialism, and better adhere to the principle of flourishing and contending for a hundred schools of thought. Our Editorial Department of World Literature specially organized This time, I would like to invite all experts and scholars engaged in the research and introduction of foreign literature to put forward my own views based on my work practices and the status and problems of foreign literary publications, introductions, critiques and studies in recent years. Most of our writers are middle-aged comrades who are currently active in the field of foreign literary work. They are Tao Jie, professor of English at Peking University, deputy director of International Radio Station, and vice president of the Western Herald American Literature Institute Chen Xi, Researcher Chen Shen, Zhang Li, Editor-in-Chief of World Literature, Editor-in-Chief of the Institute of Japanese Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Editor Wen-Jun Li, associate researcher Qian Shanhang, Zhao Yifan, “foreign literary criticism” editorial director, associate researcher Ni PeiGeng.
