Radiometer, Denmark, has developed a noninvasive blood gas measuring device that continuously and stably monitors the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the patient’s bloodstream. The complete set includes TCM_2-TC oxygen monitor and TCM20-TC carbon dioxide monitor. The microprocessors in each monitor automatically calibrate the electrode’s gas and allow continuous calibration of electrode heating, electrodes, and instrument performance. The microprocessor reduces the number of worker procedures and helps to improve the safety of in-vivo examinations on the patient’s skin. The device features a liquid crystal display (LCD-displays).
