在中国,特别是对于大学毕业生而言,具备英语技能已经显得愈发重要。大量的以英语为母语的外籍教师加入到EFL教学队伍中则为中国学生提供了优越的英语语言与文化环境。然而有时外教的教学方式,以及缺乏对中国学生英语水平与文化的了解会影响其EFL教学效果。欲提高外教的教学有效性,就需要中国教师与外教相互学习,在教学方面进行合作,以期达到使学生受益于双方教学优势的目的。
In China, especially for college graduates, having English language skills has become increasingly important. A large number of native English-speaking foreign teachers join the EFL teaching team to provide Chinese students with a superior English language and cultural environment. However, sometimes foreign teachers ’teaching methods and their lack of understanding of Chinese students’ English proficiency and culture can affect their EFL teaching effectiveness. To improve the teaching effectiveness of foreign teachers, teachers and foreign teachers in China need to learn from each other and cooperate in teaching so as to achieve the purpose of enabling students to benefit from the teaching advantages of both sides.
