丝杠是各类机床广泛采用的一种传动元件，尤其是八、九级丝杠用量最大。最近，北京地区机床厂邀请兄弟单位参加，组织了一次“八、九级丝杠配套工艺技术交流会”。会上由采用旋风铣削工艺较为成功的大连机床厂和北京手扶拖拉机厂分别总结了他们在粗加工、半精加工和精加工工序上的经验体会，本刊转为介绍。 参加交流会的同志认为，当前采用旋风铣削工艺还是适宜的，但需不断改进，提高现有装备水平，并重视解决刀具质量、刃磨和检测量具等问题。
