肺结核不住院监督化疗是治疗结核病的一项新措施。由于许多人对它的目的和做法不了解,因此如何使病人接受和坚持治疗,就成了一个重要的课题。几年来,全所的地段医护人员密切配合,从宣教入手,提高病人认识,调动他们接受治疗的积极性,收到良好的效果。以1979年为例,共进行各类宣教1,700多人次,253名初治病人接受监督治疗,全年应治疗总数17,854次,实际监督治疗17,618次,监督治疗率达98.5％(其中补治率仅1％),自服药229次(1％),漏治7次(0.4‰)。有13％病人先后转单位医务室监督治疗。排菌病人年痰菌阴转率达93％。因而监督化疗受到了患者和群众的欢迎和好评。
