随着公共英语考试的不断改革,作为专门用途英语的医学英语也面临着考试的改革。医学英语教学目的是期望医学生们能够达到采用英语在医疗行业中顺畅交流和应用。此目的决定了医学英语考试由注重知识到注重应用的转变。从而决定了变革内容包括了考试的主体(谁来考)、客体(来考谁)、方式方法和内容等各个方面。考试的主体由传统的任课教师变革为整个教研室成员成立的命题委员会。考试的客体由传统的学生单方面作为客体变革为教师、学生均为考试对象。考试方法由传统的卷面考试变革为过程性考评与终结性评估并用,口试、笔试多方法并用。考试内容应兼顾传统英语考试同时体现临床医学的特点,考评学生医学英语的实际应用能力。
With the continuous reform of public English examinations, medical English as a special-purpose English is also facing examination reform. The purpose of medical English teaching is to expect medical students to achieve smooth communication and application in English using English. This purpose determines the medical English exam from focus on knowledge to focus on the application of change. Which determines the content of the reform, including the main test (who to test), the object (who to test), ways and means and content and other aspects. The main body of the examination was transformed from a traditional instructor into a proposition committee set up by members of the entire teaching and research department. The object of examination is changed from the traditional student unilaterally as the object to the teacher, and all the students are the test subjects. The examination method is changed from the traditional curly test to the procedural evaluation and the terminal evaluation. The oral test and the written test are used in many ways. The content of the examination should take into account the characteristics of clinical medicine which reflect the traditional English test at the same time and evaluate the practical application ability of medical English of students.
