Copper is a trace element necessary for the human body, copper deficiency in children will not only lead to anemia, but not conducive to the body grow tall. Children above average height have a relatively high intake of copper, while those below average have a relatively low intake of copper. In general, the latter’s copper intake less than the former 50% to 60%. Scientists also studied the formation of copper involved in the formation of osteoblasts, concluded that: when the lack of copper, the enzyme activity in the cell decreased, protein metabolism is slow, the results hinder and inhibit the growth of bone tissue. Therefore, in order to make children’s height and development normal, parents should pay attention to the deployment of food and increase the intake of copper-rich foods.
