有人将这一结构解释为中心Cu原子采取Sp~3杂化态,与4个Cl原子形成4个σ键,结构为四面体链,却是值得商榷的。本文想就此对CuCl_2的结构作一浅析。 实验表明,在CuCl_2晶体中,每个Cu原子被4个在正方形顶点上的Cl原子配位,这些四方形[CuCl_4]荃通过相对的两棱连接以形成无限扩展的平面形链,这些链又可以使Cu原子具有另外两个次近邻的Cl原子方式堆积,不过Cu—Cl键弱到甚至不存在成键。这一结构既可由配位场理论,也可用价键理论来解释。
Some people interpret this structure as the central Cu atoms take Sp ~ 3 hybrid state, with four Cl atoms form four σ bond, the structure of the tetrahedral chain, it is debatable. This article would like to make a brief analysis of the structure of CuCl_2. Experiments show that in the CuCl 2 crystal, each Cu atom is coordinated by four Cl atoms at the apex of the square. These tetragonal CuCl 4 are connected by two opposite edges to form an infinitely extended planar chain. Cu atoms can have another two next-nearest neighbor of the Cl atoms accumulation, but the Cu-Cl bond is weak or even there is no bond. This structure can not only be explained by ligand field theory, but also by the theory of bond prices.
