初中课本第五册中的鲁迅小说《孔乙己》,第二段开头有这样一句话:“我从十二岁起,便在镇口的咸亨酒店里当伙计”。“咸亨”两个字,是什么意思?有的学生认为“咸”是“盐的味道”,“亨”是“浓”的意思,“咸亨”是“咸味太浓”的意思。还有的学生有其它一些误解,闹了不少笑话。我告诉学生,“咸”是副词,当“都”、“皆”讲;“亨”是形容词,是“顺利”的意思。“咸亨”就是“大家都顺利”的意思。旧社会一般商店取这样的店名,目的是为了讨吉利。这样一讲,避免了学生一些不必要的误解,对于帮助他们认识孔乙己活动的典型环境,
