In 1978, Geophysical Institute of Geological Sciences and our team carried out the determination of mercury content in soil gas in the Qianjiang Sag of Jianghan Basin to study the distribution of mercury in the soil above the reservoir, and the application of mercury in the soil as an indicator of oil finding prospect.
