通过对蜡蚧轮枝菌V－816菌株致病性的研究，结果表明，该菌对菜青虫、小菜蛾、甘蓝蚜、棉叶螨有较强的致病力。随浓度增加，杀虫效果明显提高，且对幼龄幼虫的致病力较对老龄幼虫的强。温度对该菌的致病力有明显的影响，其致病适温为25～30℃。同时试验表明该菌不侵染七星瓢虫的幼虫。
The pathogenicity of Verticillium lecanii V-816 was studied. The results showed that the strain has strong virulence against cabbage caterpillar, Plutella xylostella, cabbage aphid and cotton spider mite. With the increase of concentration, the insecticidal effect obviously increased, and the pathogenicity of juvenile larvae was stronger than that of aged larvae. Temperature on the pathogenicity of the bacteria have a significant impact, its pathogenicity suitable temperature 25 ~ 30 ℃. At the same time, experiments show that the bacteria do not infest the larvae of Coccinella septempunctata.
