本文总结了七年内每年重复对于正常人、肾阴虚及肾阳虚偏重型病人的尿17羟皮质类固醇(下称尿17羟)含量的检查,共计466例次。六批正常人共计108例次的测定中,尿17羟的每年平均值在6～9毫克/24小时之间。肾阴虚病人共计154例次的测定中,尿17羟的每年平均值在5～9毫克/24小时之间,虽与正常平均值相似,但其波动幅度大。对于单个肾阴虚病人的连续尿17羟测定中也可见到忽高忽低的结果。而六批肾阳虚病人共计204例次的测定中,尿17羟的每年平均值在2～3毫克/24小时之间,故而认为肾阳虚病人尿中皮质激素代谢产物含量明显低于正常人。
