大功率汽轮机末几级以及轻水反应堆核电站汽轮机和地热电站汽轮机的各个级的工作蒸汽都包含汽与水两个相的湿蒸汽两相流。湿蒸汽中以水滴和水膜形式出现的水份对汽轮机的效率及叶片的工作安全性具有甚为有害的影响。随着电力工业的迅速发展和地热资源的广泛利用,国内外近年来在理论及试验方面对湿蒸汽透平级中湿蒸汽两相流的形成机理、流体动力特性及其造成的有害影响和防护措施开展了广泛和深入的研究。
