高师英语专业是以为国家培养合格中学英语教师为目的。合格的中学英语教师不但应该具有相应的英语知识水平和良好的教学法素养,还应具备多种灵活的教学方法和手段。即集听、说、读、写、画、唱、表演于一身的教学艺术能力。只有这样,方能适应当今英语教学改革的需要,在英语教学中产生最佳的教学效果。因此,英语专业学生师范技能训练应以哲学、教育学、心理学、英语教学法理论作指导;以理论联系实际为核心;以培养学生综合英语教学艺术能力为目的。
The English majors in higher normal colleges aim at cultivating qualified English teachers in secondary schools. Qualified middle school English teachers should not only have the appropriate level of English knowledge and good pedagogy literacy, but also should have a variety of flexible teaching methods and means. That is listening, speaking, reading, writing, painting, singing, acting in one of the teaching art ability. Only in this way can we adapt to the needs of today’s English teaching reform and produce the best teaching results in English teaching. Therefore, the training of English majors’strategic skills should be guided by philosophy, pedagogy, psychology and English pedagogy theory; with theory as the core; to cultivate students’ ability to synthesize English artistry.
