In March of this year, the Gartner Group of the United States submitted a strategic analysis report on supply chain management, which described the major components of supply chain management (SCM) and analyzed the problems that enterprises must solve before successfully connecting with e-commerce. These key questions include: By 2005, how the business environment changes will affect the overall SCM strategy? How will SCM applications evolve to meet changing business needs? How will the SCM integration strategy change by 2005? The report also proposed a series of strategic planning ideas to illustrate the above issues.
