玉米是我省东北部山区抚顺、清源、新宾三县的主要粮谷作物,约占粮谷作物面积的四分之一。近年来,在农业学大寨的群众运动中,认真落实农业“八字宪法”,实行科学种田,玉米的种植面积和产量又有新的发展和提高。抚顺、清源、新宾三县,年平均气温4—6℃,生育期平均气温15—22℃,无霜期125—135天,个别地区短至110天或长至145天。这个地区雨量充足,很少受干旱威胁。夏秋昼夜温差较大,有利于作物干物质的积累。但这个地区山峦起伏,地形复杂,气候冷凉,局部小气候多变,常有冷凉、冰雹、早霜危害。从1957~1973年的17年间,大致每隔2—4年就会出现一次不同程度的低温、寡照、洪暴或早霜的影响,造成玉米不同程度的减产。
Maize is the main cereal crop in Fushun, Qingyuan and Xinbin counties in northeastern Shandong Province, accounting for about one quarter of the cereal crop area. In recent years, in the mass movement of learning Tachai in agriculture, we have earnestly implemented the “eight-character constitution” of agriculture and practiced scientific farming. There have been new developments and improvements in the acreage and yield of corn. Fushun, Qingyuan, Xinbin three counties, the annual average temperature of 4-6 ℃, the average growth temperature of 15-22 ℃, frost-free period of 125-135 days, some areas as short as 110 days or up to 145 days. Rain is abundant in this area, rarely threatened by drought. Large temperature difference between day and night in summer and autumn, is conducive to the accumulation of dry matter in crops. But the ups and downs in this area, complex terrain, cold climate, changing local microclimate, often cold, hail, early frost damage. From 1957 to 1973, 17 years, roughly every 2-4 years there will be a different degree of low temperature, low light, the impact of floods or early frost, resulting in different levels of corn production.
