The cultural element of business ethics has drawn the widespread attention of business owners, especially multinational corporations and international traders. Cultural diversity affects people’s perceptions of acceptable behavior and affects the ethical decision-making process. In order to deepen our understanding of culturally affecting business ethical behavior, we explore the possible impact of individualist and collectivistic (I-C) cultures on the moral decision-making process. By analyzing our view that the individualistic and collectivistic (I-C) cultures have an impact on the sensitivity of moral norms and moral choices, the individualist normative judgment, ethical choice, and ethical behavior are quite different from the collectivists. Because the influence of individualism and collectivism on moral issues and normative judgments can be controlled by a moral model structure, individualism and the collectivism (IC) culture can affect business ethics through both direct and indirect approaches Decision-making process.
