本文通过对比分析《华尔街日报》、《金融时报》和《纽约时报》三家外媒中文网对十八届三中全会的报道,发现其中文网在进行涉华政治报道的过程中不同程度地运用了本土化策略,这些策略包括中文原创稿件的侧重、分析解读的强化、信源的本土化与模糊化、负面报道的降低与平衡等。在涉华政治报道中,如何在新闻专业性、独立性和市场生存之间进行权衡并非易事,外媒中文网的实践表明,本土化策略为之提供了某种可行的路径和实际操作的空间。
By comparing and analyzing the coverage of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee by three foreign media websites, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and the New York Times, this article finds that their use of Chinese language networks to varying degrees in their political reports on China Localization strategy, these strategies include the focus of Chinese original manuscripts, analysis of the strengthening of interpretation, the source of localization and obfuscation, negative reports of the reduction and balance. In the political reports of China, how to balance news professionalism, independence and market survival is not easy. The practice of the Chinese-language media shows that the localization strategy provides some feasible path and practical operation space.
