脓毒症(Sepsis)是因感染引起的一种临床综合征,是目前ICU中最为重要的致死原因之一。高密度脂蛋白(High density lipoprotein HDL)是血清中的保护性蛋白,它的主要功能是逆向转运胆固醇,降低血脂水平。近来的许多研究发现,HDL能中和脂多糖(Lipopolysaccharide LPS)及磷壁酸(Lipoteichoic acid LTA),从而达到降低炎症反应,保护宿主的作用。同时,研究人员在利用重组高密度脂蛋白(recombinant High density lipoprotein rHDL)进行的动物试验也证明了这一点,为脓毒症的治疗提供了新的思路。
Sepsis is a clinical syndrome caused by infection and is one of the most important lethal causes in the ICU. High density lipoprotein (HDL) is a protective protein in serum. Its main function is to reverse cholesterol transport and reduce blood lipid levels. Many recent studies have found that HDL can neutralize Lipopolysaccharide LPS and Lipoteichoic acid LTA to reduce the inflammatory reaction and protect the host. At the same time, researchers also demonstrated this in animal experiments using recombinant high density lipoprotein (rHDL), providing a new way of treating sepsis.
