戚墅堰机车车辆工厂邵光祖报道:1985年11月22日～24日,江苏省铁道学会牵引动力委员会和戚墅堰机车车辆工厂科协,在戚厂联合举办“东风8型内燃机车学术讨论会”。应邀出席这次讨论会的有中国铁道学会牵行动力委员,上海、湖北、江苏铁道学会,铁道部规划院,铁道部检测中心,郑州、上海铁路局,铁道部科学研究院机车车辆研究所,铁道部大连内燃机车研究所,铁道部戚墅堰机车车辆工艺研究所,铁道部永济电机厂,西安铁路信号工厂,无锡动力机,杭州制氧机厂,渐江丽油泵油咀厂等三十五个单位共一百余名代表。
