随着国际之间科学技术的交流日益频繁,科技翻译受到了愈来愈多的重视。而科技翻译的艺术性与科学性在翻译界中一直备受争论,大多数学者都承认科技翻译的科学性原则,但却忽视了科技翻译的艺术性。本文以纽马克的交际翻译理论为框架,选取知名化妆品品牌——欧莱雅的化妆品说明书翻译为语料,通过研究语料,具体分析科学性及艺术性的表现形式,指出科技翻译具有科学性及艺术性统一的特点。
With the frequent exchanges of science and technology between the world, science and technology translation has received more and more attention. The artistic and scientific translation of sci-tech translation has been the subject of much debate in the field of translation. Most scholars acknowledge the scientific principle of sci-tech translation but neglect the artisticness of sci-tech translation. This article takes Newmark’s communicative translation theory as the frame, selects the well-known cosmetics brand L’Oreal’s cosmetic instruction book as the corpus, and analyzes the scientific and artistic manifestation through the study of the corpus. It points out the scientific and artistic unity of science and technology translation .
