TTL logic gates can easily become a linear amplifier, and can become some of the design of the basic circuit. The SN7400 gate shown in Figure 1, with additional feedback, produces a good linear relationship between the gate’s input and output. Two such linear gates are connected in series to form a linear amplifier with a phase delay equal to 3G0 degrees. If the circuit is closed by a crystal or a capacitor, it will oscillate. This technique can be used to form a very useful high-precision clock pulse circuit (Figure 2). The output voltage is square wave, can be used
