Objective: To investigate the relationship between HCV infection and abnormal liver function and the related risk of heroin addicts. Methods: 183 cases of heroin addicts were detected by anti-HCVVIg (intravenous injection group and hot suction group) and alanine aminotransferase. Results: The HCV infection rate was 49.2% in 183 heroin addicts and 63.3% in the intravenous injection group. The HCV infection rate in hot-swallowing group was 36.7%. The rate of HCV infection in injecting drug users was correlated with the longer the time of injecting drugs and the positive HCV infection The higher the rate, the abnormal ALT rate was 29.5% and the abnormal ALT rate was 33.3%. HCV infection was more likely to be impaired liver function. Conclusion: Intravenous injection of drugs is the main factor of HCV infection, and it is of great significance to prevent and educate the risk of HCV infection in heroin dependent patients.
