有一个流传已久的西方小故事。一个双目失明的小孩沮丧地问妈妈:“你不是说我们都是上帝喜爱的苹果吗?可他却让我什么都看不见,难道我不是上帝的苹果吗?”妈妈急忙告诉他:“不不不,你当然是。因为你太可爱了,上帝忍不住轻轻咬了你一下。”于是,他把失明看做上帝对他的特别钟爱,开始振作起来。若干年后,他成为了一名出色的盲人按摩师。相信每位幼儿教师在工作生涯中,或多或少都会遇到被“上帝咬过”的孩子。他们有的是在生理方面,有的是在心理方面相比其他孩子会有些特别。大部分有责任感的教师都会对他们倾注一份特别的关爱。
