在這次北京市教育局領導的初二、高二語文和數學兩科的統一考試中,我所教的初二三個班代數、幾何考得相當不好,不及格人數比已往增加了,平均成績降低了,在學生知識質量上暴露出不少問題。我考慮到這次所以考得這樣差,一方面是由於初二這幾班學生那是學校在私立時期為了增收學費而盲目招收進來的,程度很不齊,學習紀律差,學校平時對學生要求也不嚴格;但另一方面也是主要的一方面還是由於我教學上存在着嚴重的缺點。我還是初次教這兩門課,齊頭並進感到相當吃力,業務既生疏,經驗又缺乏,基本上是一面學一面教,談不到融會貫通,得心應手,這樣講課也就自然無系統、無重點,主觀上是要把學生教好,但客觀上卻是顧此失彼。因此,在這次統一考試中,就暴露了我的教學中如下的一些主要的缺點:
