1956-1957学年度的中学数学教学大綱(修訂草案)已經由教育部公布实行了。新的大綱是在1954年度所公布的大綱的基础之上修訂成的。笔者曾有机会参加了这次大綱的修訂工作,現在把我个人在参加这項工作当中的几点体会提供出来,供同志們参考。这次大綱的修訂,除了对於各个年級的教学时数有些变动,加入了地区测量之外,主要的还是把大綱的总說明和算术大綱及其說明加以徹底的修訂,其余部分基本上都还沒有改变。在修訂当时,也曾有人提出过这样的意見:是否可以参照苏联最近修訂大綱的情况我們自己做一番通盤的修訂,但是这样做了就会發生另外的許多問題。例如中学和大学的課程銜接問題,教科書及其参考材料的編写問題,师資的水平問題以及与有关学科的紧密配合問題等等。如果这些問題都沒有获得很好地解决,就把大綱做通盤的修訂,势必給教学帶来不必要的困难,甚至会降低教学質量。因此我觉得这种有計划地、有步驟地採取分期修訂大綱的办法是正确的,是切实可行的。
The secondary school mathematics syllabus (draft revision) for the 1956-1957 school year has been released by the Ministry of Education. The new outline was revised on the basis of the outline published in 1954. The author once had the opportunity to participate in the revision of this outline. Now I have provided my personal experience in this work for my comrades’ reference. The revision of the outline, in addition to some changes in the teaching hours for all grades, was added to the regional survey. The main thing was to thoroughly revise the general outline of the outline and the arithmetic outline and its explanation. No change. At the time of the amendment, some people had also put forward such an opinion: We can make some comprehensive amendments by referring to the situation of the Soviet Union’s recent revision of the outline, but this will cause many other problems. For example, the convergence of curriculum in secondary schools and universities, the compilation of textbooks and their reference materials, the level of teachers, and the close cooperation with related disciplines. If these problems are not resolved well, the overall revision of the outline will inevitably bring unnecessary difficulties to teaching and even reduce the quality of teaching. Therefore, I think that this method of planning and step-by-step revision of the syllabus is correct and feasible.
