Art class teaching survives in the overall teaching environment of rural middle schools. First, the existence of subjective stereotypes makes the development of rural art classes difficult, that is, the concept of “sub-sections”. The middle school art class is a required course in the nine-year compulsory education period and is an important and necessary way for students to carry out aesthetic education. However, most people, even teachers, have long thought of art classes as the so-called “subsection”. Especially in rural areas, the art class became an affiliate course for numerology and English, losing its rightful place. When other subjects require additional classes, art subjects such as art classes naturally become victims. Its “Compulsory” class title seems to have become an embarrassing existence.
