用射频感应加热引上法生长了直径为18~20mm,长60~100mm的掺铬镁橄榄石(Cr:Mg_2SiO_4)单晶。本文介绍生长Cr:Mg_2SiO_4单晶的工艺概况,给出光谱、激光和晶体缺陷分析的数据。用独特的生长工艺和原料处理方式,可使晶体中Cr ̄(4+)的浓度大大提高,从而改善其激光性能,在国内首次获得了掺铬镁橄榄石的可调谐激光输出。当输入能量为70mJ时,输出为11.5mJ,调谐范围为1167~1332nm.用BBO晶体倍频也获得了584~666mm的可调谐输出。
The Cr (Mg: Mg 2 SiO 4) single crystal with diameter of 18 ~ 20mm and length of 60 ~ 100mm was grown by RF induction heating method. This article describes the process for growing Cr: Mg_2SiO_4 single crystals, and gives data for spectral, laser and crystal defects analysis. With a unique growth process and raw material processing methods, the concentration of Cr (4+) in the crystal can be greatly improved to improve the laser performance, and the tunable laser output of forsterite is obtained for the first time in China. When the input energy is 70mJ, the output is 11.5mJ and the tuning range is 1167 ~ 1332nm. With BBO crystal frequency also obtained 584 ~ 666mm tunable output.
