为了使中学数学教学能更好地为实现四个现代化的总目标服务,我们从教材改革试验入手,通过对教学思想、教学内容、教学方法等一系列的改革,探索提高教学质量的经验。从1978年开始,从我国的实际出发,参照美国加州大学伯克利分校数学系项武义教授的“关于中学实验数学教材的设想”,编写了一套《中学数学实验教材》。1979年秋在北京、上海、天津、广州、长春5个城市的8所重点中学的9个初一班开始试验。逐年扩大,至今已有21个省、市66所中学的153个班在进行试验。教材在试验中不断修改,1981年秋由北京师范大学出版社陆续出版。
In order to make the mathematics teaching in secondary schools better serve the overall goal of the four modernizations, we start with the reform of teaching materials and try our best to improve the teaching quality through a series of reforms on teaching thoughts, teaching content and teaching methods. Starting from 1978, starting from the reality of our country, we have compiled a set of “High School Mathematics Experiment Teaching Materials” based on the “Assumptions on Experimental Mathematics Textbooks for Secondary Schools” by Professor Wu Wu of Mathematics Department of the University of California at Berkeley. In the autumn of 1979, nine first-class classes at eight key middle schools in five cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Changchun were started. It has been expanded year by year. So far, 153 classes from 66 high schools in 21 provinces and cities have been tested. Teaching materials in the experiment constantly revised, autumn 1981 by the Beijing Normal University Press published one after another.
