In the spring of 1982, Kaihua County Forestry Center built a demonstration forest of 30 mu in one-year seedlings of Sequoia tree seedlings in Huashan Forest Area of Chengguan Sub-branch. After the investigation in the winter of 1983, the rate of afforestation preservation was 92% and the average tree height for two years was 2.48 meters (up to 3.98 meters)
