薄荷是我市重要的特种经济作物之一.油菜套种薄荷是我市沿海旱粮地区推广的一种高效种植模式,但在薄荷生产中受杂草危害,一般减产在20%~50%,同时还影响薄荷油的质量.以前多采取人工除草,用工多、成本大,如头刀薄荷(夏季第一次收割)须除草2~3次,二刀薄荷(霜降前第二次收割)须除草3~4次,若遇多雨年份,人工除草不但用工增加,而且贻误季节,极易造成草荒.为寻求薄荷田杂草的防除技术,1995年以来,我们在防除油菜套种薄荷田杂草方面进行了一系列试验、示范、调查,初步掌握了本地薄荷田杂草的发生特点,摸索出一套杂草化除技术.目前已在全市推广应用,覆盖率在90%以上,现报道如下.
