农村留守儿童是指父母双方或一方离开家乡外出工作,而留在户籍所在地,无法与父母(或父、或母其中的一方)生活在一起的儿童。农村留守儿童是改革开放政策得以继续深化和农村大量剩余劳动力逐渐向城市转移的结果所致。农村留守儿童健全的人格内发于体育、智育、德育、美育等四育,而过于强调智育、德育、美育而轻视体育是一个不完整的教育。
Left-behind children in rural areas refer to children whose parents or relatives are unable to live with their parents (or one of the parents or the mother) while they are away from their home towns and where their parents register. Left-behind children in rural areas are the result of the deepening of the policy of reform and opening up and the gradual transfer of a large amount of surplus rural labor force to cities. The sound personality of left-behind children in rural areas is mainly distributed in four kinds of sports, such as sports, intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education. However, too much emphasis on intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education is an incomplete education.
