学科建设是高等学校建设的核心和发展的保障,是提升科学研究、人才培养、与服务社会能力的基础。然而人们往往把学科建设与研究性大学或教学研究型大学大学联系在一起,高职院校仅从事教学活动,与学科建设无关。高职院校由于其规模较小、办学起点较低,缺乏学科发展的底蕴;加上高水平教师队伍的缺失,学科往往比较单一,工作重心被定位在狭义的“教学”上。上述对学科建设的观点以及高职院校的学科现状,使得许多高职院校忽视学科建
Discipline construction is the core of the construction of higher education and the guarantee of its development. It is the basis for enhancing scientific research, personnel training and ability to serve the society. However, people tend to associate disciplinary construction with research university or university of teaching and research, higher vocational colleges only engage in teaching activities, and have nothing to do with discipline construction. Due to its small size, low starting point for running a higher vocational college and lacking of the background of its discipline development, higher vocational colleges tend to have a single subject with a lack of high-quality teachers, and their work focuses on narrow teaching. The above views on discipline construction and the status quo in higher vocational colleges make many higher vocational colleges ignore discipline construction
