The key issues in the process logistics component measurement and quantitative analysis are too complicated, expensive and error. In order to solve this problem, Petrometrix, Israel, combined standard photoconductive technology with infrared spectroscopy for on-line monitoring, saving 1/3 to 1/2 cost compared to conventional methods. The proprietary Beocon system is based on a patented light guide sample cell that is immune to any common process analyzer disturbances. This technology is called Petrometrix CEOIlan Sela. The system does not require a sample preparation subsystem. This subsystem is the cause of 90% of existing systems failing. The newly established algorithm compensates for temperature, pressure and flow disturbances. In addition, the system’s on-site facilities can detect up to 25 points of process logistics and send information over optical fiber to the main analyzer unit in the control room.
