第三届储藏物昆虫学国际工作会议于1983月10月23—28日在美国堪斯曼哈顿,堪萨斯州立大学举行。各国代表向大会提交论文100多篇,经“第三届储藏物昆虫学国际工作会议常务理事会”审定之后,汇编成《第三届储藏物昆虫学国际工作会议论文集》,予1984年在美国出版。我国是第一次参加会议,向大会提交的三篇论文都收集在这《论文集》中。为便于从事储藏物昆虫研究、教学和情报等人员的参考,把《论文集》文章的题目、单位全称、作者姓名和页数均一一开列,希望能对储藏物昆虫学的国际动态有一概括了解,并促进我国储藏物昆虫学研究的进展。在第三届会议期间还召开了常务理事会,决定第四届会议于1986年在以色列召开,并指定法国和印度尼西亚作为下一届会议的 The 3rd International Conference on Entomology of Reservoirs was held on October 23-28, 1983 in Kansas Manhattan, Kansas State University. Representatives of various countries submitted more than 100 papers to the conference, and after compiling the “Standing Committee of the Third International Conference on Entomology of Storage Entomology”, compiled the Proceedings of the Third International Working Conference on Entomology of Storage to 1984 American publication. My country is the first to attend the conference and all three papers submitted to the conference are collected in this Proceedings. In order to facilitate the reference of researchers, teaching and intelligence in storing insects, the article title, unit name, author name and page number are all listed one by one, hoping to summarize the international dynamics of entomology in storage Understand and promote the progress of research on entomology of stored matter in our country. Also held during the third session was the Governing Council, which decided that the fourth session should take place in Israel in 1986 and that France and Indonesia should be designated as the next session
