本文对Elly Ifantidoll于2014年出版的语言学著作《语用能力与关联理论》进行内容简评,主要评介关联理论视角下的语用能力研究范式及其发展走向。作者着眼于二语习得过程中话语理解的认知机制,认为语言的理解和选择与语用意识密切相关,而体裁教学研究可以帮助学习者理解语境进而提升其语用意识。全书对以往研究进行了通透的文献综述,在此基础上尝试理论创新,并辅以实证论证,体现了研究的系统性、综合性和实证性。
This article briefly reviews the pragmatic theory of pragmatic competence and relevance published by Elly Ifantidoll in 2014, and mainly reviews the pragmatic competence paradigm and its development trend from the perspective of relevance theory. The author looks at the cognitive mechanism of utterance understanding in second language acquisition. He believes that language understanding and choice are closely related to pragmatic awareness, while genre teaching research can help learners understand context and enhance their pragmatic awareness. The book on the previous study conducted a transparent literature review, on the basis of which to try theoretical innovation, supported by empirical demonstration, reflects the systematic, comprehensive and empirical research.
