The establishment of English classes since the third grade of primary school has become one of the hot spots in the reform of basic education in recent years. The “bilingual teaching” that the society and the school have paid close attention to and caused controversy has become a high-frequency word for educational newspapers and periodicals. On the one hand, the importance of English learning is undeniable, because “English is a universal language, whether people like it or not” (David Crystal, “English is the Universal Language”); on the other hand, there is a shortage of teachers, teaching materials, and related environments. And people’s recognition of English undoubtedly restricts the development of bilingual teaching.
