After the callus from young stems or petioles of Fennel was transferred to MS medium supplemented with 6-BA and 2,4-D at low concentration, the calluses gradually transformed from loose to granular embryogenic callus, The body originates from a single cell or embryogenic cell mass in an embryogenic callus. Embryoid bodies mature and regenerate plantlets in medium containing NAA and 6-BA. Aniseed embryoid bodies occur primarily in a single intracellular origin. First, a single blastocyst primitive cell divides to form a 2-cell embryo. The 2-cell blastocyst splits in three ways: 1. T-shaped fission; 2. Straight fission; 3. Tooth shaped fission. Different ways of division determine the presence or absence of embryos. The development of fennel embryoid body and zygotic embryo is basically the same. From the original embryo into a spherical embryo, followed by heart-shaped embryos and torpedo embryo stage, the formation of mature cotyledons. At each stage of embryoid development, there is a meristematic center of activity. During the embryo stage, the two meristems were located at two points corresponding to the middle part of the embryo body. The heart-shaped embryos were located on both sides and in the middle part. The distribution of meristems in the embryo stage was inverted U-shaped in the cotyledon, Hypocotyl hollow hollow spindle. To the cotyledon stage, meristematic tissue from two cotyledons to radicle, was “Y” shaped distribution. The stems grow between the two cotyledons and differentiate the primordium from the growing point. Embryoids eventually develop into complete plants.
