Objective: To investigate the correlation between the expression of IL-10 and IL-17 in peripheral blood and pulmonary function in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MPP) pneumonia. Methods: Seventy patients with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were selected as study subjects, wheezing was divided into wheezing group and non-wheezing group, 30 healthy children as control group, fasting blood 5ml, serum was separated, ELISA was used to detect serum IL -10, IL-17, pulmonary function test instrument to detect the subjects of the first second forced expiratory volume (PEV1), the maximum expiratory flow (PEF), forced vital capacity (FEV1 / FVC). Results: The expression level of IL-10 in asthmatic group was significantly different from that in control group (P <0.05). The expression level of IL-10 in asthmatic group was significantly higher than that in non-asthmatic group (P <0.05) The expression level of IL-17 was significantly different from that of the control group (P <0.05). The expression level of IL-17 in the asthmatic group was significantly different from that in the non-asthmatic group (P <0.05). The levels of IL-10 in asthmatic group and non-asthmatic group were lower than those in control group, while those in asthmatic group and non-asthmatic group were higher than those in control group. The values of PEV1, PEF and PVE1 / FVC were higher in non-wheezing group than in wheezing group (P <0.05). The serum levels of IL-10 in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were positively correlated with the levels of PEV1, PEF and PVE1 / FVC. The levels of serum IL-17 in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were negatively correlated with the levels of PEV1, PEF and PVE1 / FVC. Conclusion: The serum levels of IL-10 and IL-17 in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia are closely related to lung function.
