On January 15, 1981, the French Thermo-Mechanical Research Institute (SEMT) invited the press and representatives from the railways and companies in many countries including France, the United Kingdom, Spain, West Germany, the Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Greece, India and Malaysia to France. Four Shui Teng Locomotive Repair Factory visited a 16PA4185 diesel engine which was dismantled when the locomotive BB67618 was regularly serviced at the Lonchu Depot. At the beginning of the visit, the director and assistant director introduced the factory (a total of 1,040 people). The task of the garage is 1.
