贾大泉先生在《历史研究》1980年第4期发表的《宋代四川地区的茶业和茶政》一文中说:“两宋时期四川地区的茶产量确实超过了北方东南诸处的总和。在北宋超过了百分之三十以上,在南宋超过了百分之八十以上。”其后,他又在《宋代四川经济述论》以及由他参与主编的《四川简史》两书中复述了这一结论。笔者认为这一结论值得商榷。贾先生在《宋代四川地区的茶业和茶政》中指出,北宋元丰七八年,四川地区产茶3000万斤左右;而在此前二十多年的嘉祐初年,东南地区(包括淮南、江南、两浙、荆湖、福建等地,当时广南未榷茶,未统计在内)每年课茶2306.2万斤。南宋绍兴十五年,四川地区产茶2102万斤;而在大体同时期(绍兴三十二年),东南地区产茶1781万斤,绍兴末年,年产茶1590万斤。贾先生根据这些数
