一、概况石台县地处皖南山区腹地。东与黄山市交界,南同黟县、祁门毗连,西和东至连壤,北与贵池、青阳相连。境内峰峦重迭,沟壑纵横,海拔高度在50～1000米,最高的牯牛降主峰海拔1728米,系黄山山脉,素有西黄山之美喻。主要沟流有秋浦沟,源于祁门,穿县42公里,经贵池县注入长江。
I. Overview Shitai County is located in the hinterland of southern Anhui. At the junction of the east and Huangshan City, the south is adjacent to Yixian County and Ximen, and the west and east are connected to the north, and the north is connected to Guichi and Qingyang. The peaks and valleys overlap in the territory, and the ravines are vertical and horizontal, with an altitude of 50 to 1,000 meters above sea level. The highest yak descends at an altitude of 1,728 meters above sea level. It is the Huangshan Mountains and is known as the Western Huangshan. The main channel is Qiupugou, which originates from Qimen, passes through the county for 42 kilometers and is injected into the Yangtze River through Guichi County.
